Completed Projects
Features Overview
Maltese Cross
A Maltese cross is a traditional symbol of firefighters. This display was created for a customer to depict the firefighting career of her father. This case consisted of a 24” x 24” oak box and a Maltese cross with items collected from her fathers career, including his badge, his retirement belt buckle, his name-tag, and different pictures.
Our Forge
We built a forge to complete our ability to work with metal. From designing knives to making hardware, we incorporate our forge into many of our projects.
Coffee Cove
We just finished decorating this corner of a kitchen as a “Coffee Cove”. A sign hangs on the wall, accenting the space and providing hooks out of old, miscellaneous hardware for mugs. This Cove contains a couple of barrel chairs and a quaint dresser; the look is completed by a unique table. The table has steel casing welded to an old pulley for the stand, and the top is made of maple and has been carved, wood-burned, stained, and painted for a beautiful finish.
The Coop
A small, raised chicken coop with exterior nesting boxes.
Anvil
An anvil and vice on a welded, weighted stand.
Chicken Coop/Goat Building
This is a chicken coop and goat building combined. Both areas will have windows, lights, and an opening for access. The goat’s area on the bottom half will be enclosed by a fence, and the chickens above will have insulation and a secondary door to reach and clean the nesting boxes.
Patio Doghouse
This ranch-styled doghouse with a patio is small and well equipped. It is built with a storage area for treats or food that can be accessed by a door in the back.
1948 Ford Oak Truck Bed
This was a bed for a 1948 Ford truck. This truck came to Bronson Trucks after it was rebuilt by a different truck shop…the truck did not run and the craftmanship on the bed was horrible. The oak planks on the bed were not finished nor installed correctly; the planks were only finished on the top sides (allowing weather to damage the wood) and the planks were installed with minimal screws (allowing the boards to warp). We had to tear off the planks, strip them down and straighten them, stain and finish them with sealant, and then reinstalled them with carriage bolts. Above are pictures of the process.

Medium Chicken Coop
This chicken coop was built in Strasburg, Colorado; finished in September of 2019. The owners of this coop had two small flocks of chickens which were housed in two separate coops; they wanted to combine the flocks into one larger coop. The customer wanted an area for feed storage and drop-down nesting boxes for easy clean-up; in addition, we added a light, an electrical outlet, and a male-ended outlet adapter which are powered by an external/removable extension cord. The nesting boxes are lined with a coating of Flex-Seal to protect them and to assist with clean-up.
Saloon Doghouse
A small doghouse fashioned to look like a saloon.
Tailgate Light
Tailgate light? Great. But tailgate light with bullet holes, burn patterns, and lots of character? Now that’s more like it!
Family Tree
Here is some drywall art of a family tree with a painted background.
